1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
As a proud representative of India, the one beauty product I cannot live without is sandalwood paste. Sandalwood, known as "chandan" in India, has been cherished for its cooling, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties for centuries. It helps to calm my skin, reduce blemishes, and impart a natural, radiant glow. Using sandalwood paste connects me to the rich traditions of Indian skincare and the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda, celebrating natural beauty in its most authentic form.
2. What is the strangest thing in your fridge?
If I had to do anything over, it would be to embrace my cultural heritage and traditions more fully from a younger age. Growing up in a rapidly modernizing world, it can be easy to overlook the profound wisdom and beauty within our own roots. I would delve deeper into the rich tapestry of India's diverse cultures, languages, and ancient practices, celebrating them with pride and sharing their values globally. This journey of rediscovery would not only enrich my personal identity but also inspire others to cherish and preserve their own unique cultural legacies.
3.What’s something you only do when you’re bored?
I would love to meet Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, India's former President and renowned scientist. Dr. Kalam's life story is a testament to the power of dreams, hard work, and dedication. Despite his humble beginnings, he rose to become a leading figure in India's space and defense programs, and later, a beloved President. His vision for India's future, commitment to education, and inspirational words continue to motivate millions. Meeting him would be an honor, as his wisdom and humility embody the spirit of India, and his life serves as a guiding light for aspiring individuals around the world.
4.What is a purchase you made that you immediately regretted?
My favorite vacation would be exploring the vibrant and culturally rich state of Gujarat. From the white sands of the Rann of Kutch to the historical splendor of the Sabarmati Ashram, Gujarat offers a unique blend of natural beauty and heritage. Visiting the stunning Gir National Park, home to the majestic Asiatic lions, and witnessing the grandeur of the ancient temples of Somnath and Dwarka is a truly enriching experience. The vibrant festivals, exquisite handicrafts, and delicious Gujarati cuisine add to the charm of this beautiful state. Gujarat's diverse landscapes and cultural treasures make it an unforgettable vacation destination that celebrates the essence of India.
5.What kind of Barbie would you be?
For breakfast, I typically enjoy a warm and comforting bowl of Upma. This South Indian dish is made from semolina, cooked with onions, vegetables, and aromatic spices like mustard seeds, curry leaves, and green chilies. It's not only delicious but also nutritious, providing a good balance of carbohydrates, fiber, and essential nutrients to kickstart my day. Upma is versatile and can be customized with different ingredients according to personal preference, making it a favorite breakfast choice for many in India.
